Thanks to AsianInNY.com and Diana for organizing such a fabulous event for the Lunar New Year
celebration X NY Fashion Week on 11 February. It was a very successful night!

The amazing food, floating drinks and the wonderful performances from the singers, dancers and
of course our MC/Comedian were just simply GREAT!! And most important of all, along with the
New York fashion week, the event provided a platform for all up and coming Asian designers
(including Me Char Handbags/our favorite Charmaine) to showcase their awesome designs.

In November we held our first blogger brunch event in our New York office.  Bloggers from all over the New York City area were invited to a fabulous fashion brunch. Bloggers checked out our new collections, while they indulged in sparkling wine and treats, and chitchatted with Designer Charmaine Ho about our favorite subject: Handbags!

Bloggers talked with Charmaine about her inspiration for the new season and got to try on the new styles.

As a regular sponsor of BCEF, Me Char again supported their annual fund raising Breast Cancer Awareness event ,“This Old Bag 2011”.  We are excited that our bag was a hit at the auction and the winner was very happy to take it back home. 

The event was a great buzz by raising more than $200,000 for low-income women who are battling breast cancer. It’s a meaningful event to be part of, and it helps our community and our fellow members.
